mission work through the church. Her faith defined her life. She and Marlin enjoyed traveling and one of her most memorable trips was to the Holy Land. She was a member of Pilot Club, active in Farm Bureau Women, served as a Muscatine County Fair Superintendent and had been recognized for her 4H contributions. Roberta was a longtime volunteer for Senior Circle and Lutheran Living. She was also an active member of the Muscatine Community Y. She loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking for many people. Roberta loved attending her grandchildren's events and continued to attend high school events after their graduations. She loved visiting and connecting with her family, grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Survivors include her children, Duane Eichelberger of Chicago, Illinois, Randall Eichelberger and wife, Theresa, Myron Eichelberger and wife, Amy, and Corena Eichelberger all of Muscatine, and Carrie Meyers and husband, Henry, of Olivia, Minnesota; 18 grandchildren, Brian Eichelberger and wife, Lisa, Elizabeth VanderPol and husband, Luke, Ben Eichelberger and wife, Teneia, Sarah Windhorst and husband, Nick, Noah Eichelberger and wife, Allison, Duncan Eichelberger, Hannah Eichelberger, Mykel Simpson and fiancée, Haley Hake, Heather Kleindolph and husband, Levi, Eric Meyers and wife, Kate Lynn, Joshua Meyers, Thomas Meyers, Emma Meyers, Catherine Meyers, Abigail Meyers, Andrew Meyers, Sophia Meyers and Addison Meyers; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, William F. Hoben and wife, Dolores 'Dodie' of Muscatine; one sister, Marilyn Dickinson and husband, Warren, of Muscatine; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Claude 'Giff' Gifford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin; her parents; and one sister, Janice Hoben.
