istmas time. Delores was an excellent speller and kept a daily journal from the time she was a teen until just a few days before her death. She was an accomplished seamstress, sewing doll clothes for her dolls when she was a young girl and later made clothes for herself and her children. She could sew on a button or hem your pants before you headed out the door for school. She had a strong work ethic and instilled it in her children. She had a strong faith and was a member of Burlington Baptist Church. She was a prayer warrior and is the reason many of us are still here!
