ene Rader, on November 23, 1940. She worked at JC Penny and Jack and Jill Children's Store.
While serving as the Youth Minister at Angelo Heights UMC, she was given the nickname of "Momma Rader" by her loving youth group, was a member of Sierra Vista UMC, an accomplished seamstress and quilter and took great pride in being involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold (Gene) Rader and her sister and brother-in-law, Bernell and Lou Brahn.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Ronnie) Oaks, Pat Rader (Billy Johnson); Granddaughter, Heather (Jay) Jeffrey, Harold (Chaura) Catson, and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, January 29, 2018, at Sierra Vista UMC, with burial to follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers for the service will be Butch Baker, Joe Lee, her grandsons, Harold Caston and Jared Jeffrey, and nephews, Mark and Mike Brahn, as well as honorary pallbearer, Gary Booth.
Memorials are suggested to Sierra Vista UMC, Hospice of San Angelo, or a favorite charity.
