Scott A. Lorenz

Scott A. Lorenz 39, of Waterloo died at Wednesday, January 25, at home. He was born September 23, 1978, in Dubuque, the son of Carl and Cindy Oxley Lorenz. Scott graduated from Columbus High School in 1997 and was employed as a DJ for KQMG radio station. Survivors include: his parents of Waterloo; and a brother Nick Lorenz of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Harry (Rosemary) Lorenz; maternal grandparents, Glen (Lorraine) Oxley; step-grandmother, Madeline Oxley; an uncle, David Lorenz; and an aunt, Sandy Rondeau. Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tues at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A visitation will be 4-7:00 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 6:00 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue at the church for an hour before services on Tuesday. Memorials may be direct to the family.
