Donald A. (Don) Nonnweiler, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 following an illness at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri. He was the son of the late Clair E. Nonnweiler and Mardel A. Nelson Nonnweiler.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana Lynn Nonnweiler of the home; a son, Roger Nonnweiler of Honolulu, HI; two brothers, Paul Elwood Nonnweiler of Tyrone, GA, Douglas Nonnweiler of Webb City; four grandchildren, Mathew Nonnweiler and Nicole Nonnweiler, both of Diamond Bar, CA, Zachory Keith of Bullhead City, AZ and Logan Nonnweiler of Loma Linda.
A daughter, Arlene and a sister, Carolynn Ruth Moore, preceded him in death.
Donald was a design engineer with the Enterprise Co. for many years in Orange, CA, where he maintained a home with his wife and youngest grandson. Donald enjoyed many trips and hobbies, sailing, hunting, fishing, woodcrafts, remodeling drawing and being in his workshop. He was a longtime member of St. PaulÃs Lutheran Church in Orange, CA. Donald was also a Navy veteran and an Army reserve member.
