He is also survived by 3 brothers, George (Barbara) McClenathan of Blue Eye, Missouri, and Melvin (Phyllis) McClenathan and Elza McClenathan, both of Brooklyn, Iowa, 1 sister, Sylvia Hawkins of Marengo, Iowa, and several step children and step grandchildren.In addition to his three spouse, he was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter-in-law, Phyllis McClenathan, and 1 step son, John Hicks.Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church in Independence with Rev. Scott Meador officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence. Friends may call for visitation from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31st, at the White Funeral Home in Independence.
