Lois Vivian Wilson, 88 died early Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Mo. She was born July 13, 1929 in Keokuk, Iowa the daughter of Elmer and Ethel (Long) Varner. On October 30,1948 she was united in marriage to Harold Wilson in Keokuk. They were married for sixty-nine years.
Lois had lived her life in the Wayland, Keokuk area, and raised her family with Harold. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafting and weekend flea markets, selling crafts for 20 years. After Harold's retirement they spent many winters in McAllen Texas. Lois was the last of her siblings.
She is survived by three children, Merlin and Debbie Wilson of Hamilton, IL; Marlene and Long Do, and Michael and Shari Wilson all of Keokuk, IA. She also is survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parent's, son John in 2006, seven brothers, and two sisters.
Celebration of Lois's life will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Anchor of Hope Church in Keokuk. Family will meet with friends from 9:00 AM until time of services in the Church.
