Betty Lou Sanders, 90, of Bothell, WA, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. She was born in 1927 in Portland, OR, the daughter of the late Frank C. and Irene (Euphemia Hardy) Blackman. Betty married Charles E. Sanders in 1954 in Portland, OR. He preceded her in death on March, 2005. Betty was a volunteer at the Sedro Wooley Food Bank, active in the Sedro Wooley Garden Club and was on the welcoming committee at Chateau at Bothell Landing. She and her husband enjoyed boating and lived on the water in Anacortes, WA for a period of time. Betty was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed boating, skiing and gardening. She loved life and could put a positive outlook on most anything. Betty is survived by her son, David Sanders and wife Marsha and daughters, Linda Axtell and husband George, Kathren Manley and husband Paul, Donna Beaudry and Melissa Bundy and husband Alan; grandchildren, Scot Sanders, Joshua Misenar, Jamie France, Christina Broderick and Sara Broderick; great-grandchildren, Rhoss, Alice, Audrey and Liam. She was preceded in death by her grandson, James Beaudry.
