Jean H. VanVliet, age 87, of the Cedar Glen Lakes section of Manchester Twp, passed away on Sun, Jan. 28, 2018.
Jean was a member of the Red Hat Society, a parishioner at St. Steven's Episcopal Church and a volunteer for their food bank and worked each summer at the Manchester Twp lake.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Helen Dills as well as her first husband Clarence R. Bridges Sr. and her second husband Wallace VanVliet. Surviving is her son Clarence R. "Buster" Bridges Jr. and his wife Ellen of Lillian, AL.
Visitation will be held on Thurs, Feb. 1, 2018 from 3-7PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Burial will take place on Fri, Feb. 2 at 11AM at Clover Leaf Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
