She loved all animals and riding cross-country with her husband, Emery, on the back of their Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She was one of the last survivors of the orphan train from New York. She had a huge Liberty Bell collection. The love letters that Emery sent her during World War II will be buried with her so she can continue to treasure them. Those left to honor her memory include her children, Janet A. Tumey and husband, Donald, of Bettendorf, Joanne McKee of Riverside, California, and Jeff E. Law and wife, Vickie Kerr-Law of Muscatine; one son-in-law, Gary Lawrence of Fruitland; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emery; one daughter, Joyce E. Lawrence; and three brothers, Frank Arnold, Harry Davis, and Charles Eickmeier.
