Funeral services for Mr. Ronald V. Crabtree, 74, of Cookeville will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday July 2 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Hoover Cemetery, Allons, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4 - 8 p.m. Mr. Crabtree died June 30, 2007 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1933 in Overton County to the late James William "Bill", Sr. Dillie Cargile Crabtree. He was a businessman ambulance director. He was a member of Allons Baptist Church and Allons Senior Citizens and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.He is survived by his wife, Carol Hoover Crabtree of Cookeville; daughter son-in-law, Joanna Earl McNeely of Algood; son daughter-in-law, Mike Melissa Crabtree of Maryville, TN; 6 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Max ( Nina) Crabtree, Jack ( Reba) Crabtree, and Bill, Jr. ( Thelma) Crabtree, all of Livingston.He is preceded in death by his parents.Pallbearers to serve are Durran Lewis, Rick Brown, Derrick Crabtree, Daniel Brook, Monty Smith, Roy Lee Seber.
