Funeral services for Mrs. Jo McConnell Little, 71, of Livingston will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, January 18 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Birmingham, AL. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 3 until 8 p.m.Mrs. Little died January 15, 2007 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1936 in Birmingham, AL to the late Leslie F. and Jean Trowbridge McConnell. She was a travel agent with The Travel Agency.She was a member, Treasurer, Elder of First Cumberland Presbyterian, secretary for the Overton County Republican Party, Secretary for the Overton County Election Commission, and member of the Merchants Association and Civic Garden Club. She served as the Cookie Sales Chairman for the Overton County Girl Scouts for many years.She is survived by her daughters, Jeane Scott of Maryland, Janette Lauzon of Livingston, Jennifer ( Curt) Eilender of Rickman; 5 grandchildren; a brother Cliff wife, Trish McConnell of Birmingham, AL; and cousin, Hilda Yost, Charlotte, NC.She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marlys McConnell.
