Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Mabrey age 90 of Monroe, will be conducted 10 A.M. Monday, February 25, 2008 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clay County Tennessee. The family will received friends on Sunday evening 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. Mrs. Mabrey died February 22, 2008 at the Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston. She was born in Clay County Tennessee on November 13, 1917 to the late John and Dora (Sidwell) Maxfield. She was a Mother, Licensed CNA, Caregiver.She was a member of Martins Chapel United Methodist Church.She is survived by daughters, Betty (Thomas) White of Indianapolis, Indiana, Isabella (Cecil) Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sandra (Gordon) Copeland of Allons, Sharon (Robert) Paul of Livingston, and Pam Huddleston of Livingston; sons, Jimmy Mabrey of Allons and Roger (Betty)Mabrey of Rickman; 23 Grandchildren, 41 Great-Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Maggie Hawn, Mary Lovely, Ruth Phipps, Louise Hargis, Faye Hargis, Betty Jo Hancock, and Ruby Anderson; and brothers, Milton Maxfield, Grady Maxfield, Jerry Maxfield, and Benny Maxfield.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mabre...[more]
