Funeral services for, MRS. LILLIE MYRTLE SMITH, age 85, of Alpine, will be conducted Monday, January 5, 2009, from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dugan Smith Cemetery in Alpine, with Bro. Ovle Tinch officiating. The family will receive friends 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday evening at the funeral home.Mrs. Smith was born in Overton County Tennessee on December 22, 1923 to the late John S. and Mary M. Robbins York. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Millers Chapel Christian Church.She is survived by a daughter Reda (Jack) Ezell of Alpine, two sons James (Joyce) Smith of Alpine, and Jesse (Billie) Smith of Alpine, a sister Rillie Upchurch of Alpine. Four Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren also survive.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Reno H.
