Funeral services for Mr. Alvin Baty (A.B.) Carr, age 76, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with burial in Shiloh Cemetery at West Fork with Bro. Tim Singleton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m.Mr. Carr was born in Overton County Tennessee on August 30, 1932 to the late Billy and Ova Ledbetter Carr. He was a construction worker.He is survived by his wife, Anna Frances Ledbetter Carr of Livingston; daughters, Ruth Ann Carr of Allons, Shirley Marie Carr of Monterey, and Deloris Jo Burris of Cookeville; a son, Donnie Roger Carr of Livingston; 6 grandchildren, Melissa Ann Wilborn, Nathan Christopher Carr, James Ray Hutchison, Samantha Jo Sidwell, Jonathan Kyle Ledbetter, and Ethan Lee Burris; and 5 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Allen Carr, five sisters, and three brothers.Pallbearers were Nathan Carr, James Hutchinson, Jonathan Ledbetter, Cecil Story, Jason Wilborn, and Harold Burris.
