Funeral services for Mr. W. G. Upchurch, age 87, of Allons will be conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Malcolm Hill officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.Mr. Upchurch died September 27, 2009 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born January 5, 1922 in Clay County to the late Herman E. and Willie Jean Wilborn Upchurch. He was a farmer.He was a member of the Lilly Dale Church of Christ.He is survived by sisters, Eracine ( Charles) Ledford of Alpine and Christine Dodson of Livingston; and 2 special nieces, Lisa Ledford and Jeannie Petitt along with several other nieces.He is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Alyene Upchurch and brothers, Clifford E.
