Funeral services for Mr. Tony Edward Franklin, age 52, of Allons will be conducted at 3 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Randall McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Cope Cemetery in Pickett County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m.Mr. Franklin died October 27, 2009 in St. George, SC. He was born May 14, 1957 in Overton County to the late Cortis Tasso and Opal Maude Flowers Franklin. He was a self-employed truck driver.He is survived by his wife, Donna Franklin of Allons; son, Nicholas Franklin of Allons; granddaughter, Ciera Franklin of Allons; brother, Gayron Franklin of Rickman; and a sister, Brenda Franklin of Livingston.He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Franklin.Pallbearers to serve are Chris and Levi Franklin, Calvin Booher, Michael Ogletree, Chris Hibbs, Hunter Sells.
