Funeral services for MR. WILLIE PIERCE SPECK, 86, of Livingston, will be conducted 10 A.M. Tuesday,January 26, 2010, from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Burial will be in the Copeland Cemetery at West Fork, with military honors, provided by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the V.F.W. The family will receive friends 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday evening.Mr. Speck was born in Overton County Tennessee on March 23, 1923 the the late Joe May and Janie Mae Ledbetter Speck. He operated Willow Grove Resort for 20 years, and served in the United States Army for 10 years. He was a member of the V.F.W. and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife Shirlie Speck of Livingston, a daughter Pam Douglas of Livingston, a son Kenny Speck of Murfreesboro, and a Grand son Blake Speck. Four brothers Estes Speck of Livingston, Bill Speck of Lafayette, Grady Speck of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Odis Speck of Algood.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jerry Speck, sisters Lyda Grace Speck and Anna Speck Norris, and a brother Othel Herron Speck.
