Funeral services for Mrs. Edith May Bull, age 92, of Livingston will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. James Shaver officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4 until 8 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Friday.Mrs. Bull died March 24, 2010 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was born December 4, 1917 in Jackson County to the late Benton and Ethel Brown Smith. She was a presser in the garment industry.She was a member of First Assembly of God in Livingston.She is survived by sons, Doyle Sue Buell of Cookeville and David Jan Buell of Livingston; daughter, Barbara Billy Barnes of Livingston; brothers, Sam Smith of Cookeville and Clyde Smith of Illinois; sisters, Wilma Rector of Cookeville, Bernie Stevens of Dayton, OH, and Geraldine Loftis of Illinois; 7 grandchildren, Barry and Darrin Barnes, Phillip Buell, Kelly Buell Sikes, Kerie Buell, Penny Matthews, and Amelia Buell; and several great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Charlie Walter Bull, son: James Buell...[more]
