Funeral services for Mr. Stanford A. Swift, age 61, of Allons will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the Fleming Cemetery in Allons, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday 9 until 11 a.m. time for services.Mr. Swift died July 28, 2011 at his home. He was born February 8, 1950 in Overton County to the late Lester B. Norma J. Cole Swift. He worked at Veterans Hospital in Nashville, TN.He was affilliated with the Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army.He is survived by a sister, Sue husband, Bob Wilson of Cookeville; a brother, Steve Pam Swift of Allons; and 2 nephews, Jon Swift of Livingston and Tim Wilson of Cookeville.He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Valleri Lee Swift.
