Funeral services for Mr. Gary Wayne Martin, age 58, of the Maple Grove Community of Clay County will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 from the Fellowship Baptist Church in Allons with Bro. Bob Stoner officiating. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m.Mr. Martin died December 22, 2011 at his home. He was born October 19, 1953 in Overton County to I. B. "Cotton" Jewell Medley Martin. He was a factory worker with the Berkline Corp.He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.He is survived by a daughter, Amy Martin boyfriend, Steve Bybee of Allons; son daughter-in-law, Brandon Amy Martin of Monroe; his mother, Jewell Martin of Allons; 3 grandchildren, Donovan Harvey, Addison Martin, Briggs Martin; and 3 sisters, Judy Earl Foster of Anderson, IN, June Larry Harvey of Allons, and Joan Terry Borden of Allons.He is preceded in death by his father, I.
