Funeral services for Mrs. Dorcas Aline Anderson, age 91, of Livingston will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.Mrs. Anderson died June 13, 2012 at Standing Stone Health Care Center. She was born November 16, 1920 in Granville (Jackson Co.), TN to the late John Lee and Dora Mae Burgess Kirby. She was a preacher's wife and a housewife.She was a member of the Allons Church of Christ.She is survived by 2 sons daughters-in-law, Roger Brenda Anderson of Rickman and Gary Gloria Jean Anderson of Henderson, TN; 3 sisters, Madelyn King and Joann Hunter, both of Cookeville, and Jean Robinson of Evansville, IN; a brother, Odell Kirby wife, Becky of Murfreesboro; 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Edward Anderson, son: John Mark Anderson, and infant daughter: Joyce Faye Anderson.
