Funeral services for Mr. Lee Gilpatrick, age 84, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday January 16, 2013 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery where there will be a military service provided by the Honor Guard from the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.Mr. Gilpatrick passed away January 13, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1928 in Overton County to the late Joseph Austin and Eliza Jane Neal Gilpatrick. He was a factory worker at General Motors Corp.He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.He is survived by a step-son, Jimmy McClusky of Lebanon, OH; step-daughter, Marianne Jolley; step-granddaughter, Abby Jolley of Livingston; brother, Elmo Dimple Gilpatrick and twin brother, Lon Magdalene Gilpatrick, all of Livingston; a host of nieces nephews; and special friends, Margaret Wesslowski, David Lee Smith, and Marianna Mullins, all of Michigan.He is preceded in death by his parents, his w...[more]
