Funeral services for Mr. James L. "Jim" Webb, age 98, of the Pleasant Ridge Community will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday January 30, 2013 from the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church with Bro. Jim Rodgers Bro. Randy Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.Mr. Webb passed away January 27, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born September 12, 1914 in Overton County to the late John and Fannie Parragin Webb. He worked in maintenance for the Overton County Board of Education.He was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church.He is survived by daughters sons-in-law, Geraldine Ernest Garrett of Livingston, Wyndline Harvey Farris, Betty Owens, Marcia David Eldridge all of Cookeville, and Sharon Randy Sevier of Rickman; sisters, Opal Webb of Monterey and Ona Wilson of Cedar Chapel; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Mary Elease Looper Webb, and a son: James Howard Webb.Pallbearers to serve are Gerald Windle, Jeff Haney, Kevin Garrett, Mark and Michael Anders...[more]
