Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Dwayne Flowers, age 58, of Alpine will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Aron Dillon Bro. Mark Neely officiating. Burial will be in the Wirmingham cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday Evening from 5 until 9 p.m.Mr. Flowers passed away Friday, February 22, 2013 at his home in Alpine. He was born July 10, 1954 in Pickett County to the late Hubert Cecil Florence Lillian Ledford Flowers. He was a carpenter.He was a member of the Christian Community Church.He is survived by his son, Jammie Flowers wife Chrissy of Alpine Tenn.; daughters: Debbie Coleman Trista Flowers both of Livingston Tenn.;Grandchildren: Toni Cody Coleman, Mary Phillips, Kiersten Flowers, Kylee Flowers, Dalton Flowers, Jalyric "Little Joe" Cullom; brothers: Dale Flowers of Livingston, Donald Flowers wife Rhonda of Livingston, Dwight Flowers of Alpine, Darrell Flowers wife Gail of Livingston; sisters: Edith Sherrills of Perry, Ga., Edna Hughes of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Carol Wilson husband James of Livingston; Several Neices and Nephews also survive.He is preceded in death by his...[more]
