Funeral services for Miss Avis McDonald, age 81, of Livingston will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial will be in the McDonald Cemetery in Monroe, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m.Miss McDonald passed away August 12, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 25, 1931 in Overton County to the late Enos and Ada Fowler McDonald. She was a CNA with Masters Health Care Center.She was a member of the Church of God of Prophesy in Livingston.She is survived by a sister, Mavis Norrod of Livingston and several nieces nephews: Shirley McDonald, Phyllis Kington, Janice Crabtree, Pam Stout, Debbie Woody, Jimmy Mcdonald, James Norrod, Gary McDonald.She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Kermit and Kenneth McDonald, and a niece Joyce Harvey.Pallbearers to serve are Jimmy McDonald, James, Scott, Jacob, Jared Norrod, and Fred Stout.
