Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jewell Allred, age 80, of Alpine will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Grace Baptist Church in Alpine with Bro. John Copeland and Bro. Daniel Ledford officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery in Alpine. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.Mrs. Allred passed away October 10, 2013 at her home. She was born December 5, 1932 in Overton County to the late Albert and Vetchel Ledbetter Ruble. She was a furniture factory worker.She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and also worked with the "Meals on Wheels" program.She is survived by her husband, Curt Allred of Alpine; daughter, Gail Keith Ledford of Alpine; sisters, Janice Bruce Ledford of Livingston, Joyce Ernest Eldridge of Alpine, and Carolyn Jim King of Fentress County; brothers, Cecil Dean Ruble, Bernie Sue Ruble of Alpine, and Roger Ruble of Livingston; 2 grandchildren, Ginger Meredith husband, Nathan and Jamie Ledford wife, Sarah; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brylee and Cambria.She is preceded in death by her parents, and 6 brothers, 6 brothers: J.
