Graveside services for Mr. Vernon Glen Dickerson, age 60, of the Hardys Chapel Community will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 from the Poplar Springs Cemetery in Livingston with burial to follow. The family will receive friends at the service.Mr. Dickerson passed away November 3, 2013 at Kindred Health Care at Masters in Algood. He was born June 4, 1953 in Overton County to Lula Nell Nevins Dickerson and the late Glen Venable Dickerson. He was a self-employed truck driver and carpenter.He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.He is survived by the mother of his children, Linda Dickerson of Hardys Chapel; daughter, Kelli Scott Ray of Allons; grandchildren, Kayln, Cody, Joseph Ray of Allons; his mother, Lula Nell Dickerson of Hardys Chapel; sisters, Loretta Pigg and Leda Stover, both of Hardys Chapel; brother, Hugh Lee Julene Dickerson of Hardys Chapel; and several nieces nephews.He is preceded in death by his father, a son: Josh Dickerson, and nephew: Michael Stover.
