Funeral services for Mr. Gentry Ledford, age 75, of the Oak Grove Community will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Caleb Bowling officiating. Burial will be in the Copeland Cemetery at Oak Grove. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.Mr. Ledford passed away December 30, 2013 at Overton County Nursing Home. He was born March 27, 1938 in Overton County to the late Houston and Reva Smith Ledford. He was a factory worker with Botany Shirtmakers.He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ledford of the Oak Grove Community; daughter, Terri Ledford of Livingston; grandson, Parker Ledford of Livingston; brother, Keith Gail Ledford of Alpine; brothers-in-law, Homer Lucy Copeland, Edward Vaneta Gore, Donald Julie Copeland; sisters-in-law, Nancy Larry Ferrell and Joyce Andrew Davis along with several nieces nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents.Pallbearers to serve are Brandon Darrell Gore, Randy Davis, David Allred, Jamie Ledford, Gary Ferrell.
