Funeral services for Mr. Billy Keith Stockton, age 78, of the Okolona Community will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 30, 2015 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Craig Green officiating. Burial will be in the Okolona Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until6 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of services.Mr. Stockton went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning August 23, 2015. He was born in Overton County on March 25, 1937 to the late Shirley Della Copeland Stockton. Keith loved sports since his childhood days. He was the starting center for the Livingston Academy Wildcats where he helped the team become the 1954 "Tobacco Bowl Champions". He graduated from Livingston Academy in 1955. That same year he married his high school "sweetheart" Callie Novine Martin. Keith and Novine spent 53 wonderful years together till the Lord called her home in 2008. He gladly served the people of Overton County for 20 years as the Register of Deeds. He was a beloved father and grandfather, always making sure he provided for his family. He made sure all the kids of his community were able to make Jack-o-lanterns at Halloween.He is survived by his loving daughters, Stephanie Presley of Livingston Lisa McDaniel of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Cole Presley, Jordan Presley, Stockton McDaniel, Meredith McDaniel; an uncle, George Stockton of Cookeville; brothers-in-law, James Martin wife, Marcia of Livingston Frank Martin of Livingston; and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Burton husband, Jim of Rome, GA.He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Novine Stockton, sister: Virginia Greer, son-in-law, Mark McDaniel.Pallbearers to serve are Jimmy Copeland, Jeff Neal, Bruce Denmark, Tim Reid, Josh Coffman, Kyle Gaw.Honorary Pallbearers are James Parrott, Roy Pennington, Hosea Winningham, Earl Dale, Kenny Sadler, L.D.
