Michael David Vinson

Memorial service for Mr. Michael David Vinson, age 60, of Livingston will be conducted at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Livingston. President Tony Huddleston will officiate. The family will receive friends at the time of service. Mr. Vinson passed from this life at his home on Friday, November 6, 2015. He was born September 29, 1955 in San Diego California to Carrolyn VanGorder Vinson the late Maurice Durwood Vinson. He was a factory worker for the Hewlett Packard Computer Company, testing computers in extreme weather conditions. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Livingston, where he served as Second Counselor for the Elders Quorum. He took his responsibility reverently. He loved the gospel, his church, his family, his friends and would often speak of his great love in which he had for his children and his beloved dog Mooch. But most of all he talked about his love for the Savior. Michael also served in the United States Army where he was assigned the duty of being a tank commander. e is survived by his mother, Mrs. Carrolyn Vinson of Livingston, Tn.; son Matthew Vinson; daughters, Bobbie Jo Vinson Christa Marie Vinson; sisters, Sharalyn Cobianponce of Livingston Paige Theal of San Diego, Cal.; brother, Barry Lee Vinson. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Vinson.
