Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Handy, age 60, of Livingston will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Jim Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. Mr. Handy passed from this life on Saturday evening, December 5, 2015 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1955 in Overton County to Mildred Faye Winningham Handy the late James Donald Handy. He worked as a Truck Driver for Honest Abe Log Homes. He is survived by his wife Tammy Qualls Handy of Livingston; his mother, Mildred Faye Handy of Livingston; brothers, James Handy of Livingston, Brinte Handy wife, Marietta of Allons, Gary Handy wife, Cathy of Rickman, Steve Handy of Livingston; a sister, Sharon Murphy of Livingston; and several nieces nephews. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his infant son, Scotty Handy; brothers: Roger Dale Handy, Johnnie Michael Handy Tommy Richard Handy, and sisters: Mildred Ann Handy, Deborah Kay Handy Fields Sabra Ann Handy Wilson.
