Honey Feil Falkner

Honey Feil Olga Honey Feil Falkner, of Bass Lake, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 while wintering in Arkansas. She was 87 years old. She was born on July 26, 1922 in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia to Stanley and Gwendolyn (Walker) Honey. She married Joseph Feil Jr. on Feb. 9, 1946 in Australia. He preceded her in death in 1983. The couple returned America after World War II. They lived in Antigo and Tomah where Mrs Feil worked as a cryptographer at Ft. McCoy. She returned to Antigo and Bass Lake where she enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and entertaining family and friends. In 1987 she married John Falkner, he preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors include a daughter Leslie (Duane) Kramer of Arkansas and Bass Lake; a daughter-in-law Jenelle Feil, Wausau; two step daughters-in-law Mary Flakner and Grace Wolf of Wis.; three grandchildren Christopher Nuzum, Dodgeville, Michael Nuzum, Lakewood Colo.; Alexa Feil, Phoenix, Ariz.; three step grandchildren; a great grandson Brian; a brother Maxwell Honey, Tuncurry, New South Wales, Australia; several neices and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating.
