Dolly England, 90, of West Burlington, died 5:03 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home. Born January 21, 1928 in Burlington, she was the daughter of John R. and Hope (Sawtell) Van Osdol. She married Carl England on August 20, 1947. He died September 2, 2005. Dolly worked for Younkers for 28 years, until her retirement. She was of the Methodist faith. She loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed going to garage sales with her sister and picking up knickknacks and refurbishing them. She was an avid bridge player. Survivors include two daughters, Michele England of Iowa City and Stacia England Storm of Des Moines; one granddaughter, Alyssa Forgy of Iowa City; three sisters, Doris Green of Ohio, Dorothy Cole of West Burlington and Delores Plummer of Burlington; one brother, John Van Osdol of Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl and one grandson Samuel Forgy. The funeral service for Mrs. England will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 6th at Lunning Chapel. The Rev.
