Lynn Borchardt

Lynn Borchardt, of Elcho, died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at his home. He was 80 years old. He was born on July 3, 1930 in Milwaukee a son of the late Roy and Beatrice (Bennett) Borchardt. He married Barbara Heather on February 26, 1951 in Illinois. She survives. Mr. Borchardt was co-owner of United Electric in Oak Creek. After his retirement in 1993 the couple moved to their home in Elcho. While living in Oak Creek he was a member of the Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his wife survivors include three daughters, Lynda (Tiki) Borchardt, Muskego, Rosanne (John) Jennings, Seymour, IN and Doreen (Gary) Mueller, Wisconsin Rapids; a son, Jeffrey (Mishel) Borchardt, Rhinelander; a daughter-in-law, Jill Borchardt, Waterford; grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by a son, Randal Borchardt. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 23 at 5:00 PM at All Saints Lutheran Church in Oak Creek. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the family. [more]
