Ronald "Ron" Ruhland

OREGON/PLAIN-Ronald "Ron" Ruhland, age 59, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018.  He was born on July 2, 1958, in Reedsburg, the son of Sylvester and Rose (Wankerl) Ruhland.  Ron married Brenda Ruhland on April 23, 1996.  He enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, canoeing, camping, watching nature shows and cheering for the Packers and Badgers.  Ron was a great joke teller and was always laughing with his infectious laugh, even at himself.  He was generous, forgiving and could grill a great steak.  Ron is survived by his wife, Brenda; sons, Matthew and Jared Ruhland; brothers, Stan (JoAnne) Ruhland, Norman Ruhland and Jeffrey (Brenda) Ruhland; sisters, Janet (Lane) Moore, Elizabeth (Rick Webb) Ruhland and Marie (John) Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Paula Green; and brothers, Tom and Dennis Ruhland.  Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 10am, on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018.
