George "Skip" Sherlock, 84, of Davie, FL passed away on February 6, 2018. Born in Parma, OH to George and Agnes Sherlock, he was one of two children. After graduating from high school, Skip joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for 22 years and saw two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea. After retirement from the military, Skip settled in Ithaca, NY and worked as a bank security guard before relocating to Davie, FL in 1984. Blessed with the gift of gab, Skip was a gregarious man. He had a big heart and was a true gentleman.
Skip is survived by his wife, Deborah La Place; and two step-sons, Gregory Dungan, DO, and Charles "Cody" Dungan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
