Betty Ann Akers, was born in Berthoud, Colorado on July 17, 1931 and spent her entire life in and near Longmont Colorado. Betty married her high school sweetheart, Bob Akers, on April 9, 1950.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Bob Akers, brother Tom Bashor, daughter Diana Eberhart (Steven), three grandchildren, Justin (Leslie), Ryan (Amber) and Nicole (David); and seven great-grandchildren, Natalie, Tristan, Zooey, Tennyson, Bradly, Matthew and Joshua, and many other family and longtime friends.
She loved spending time with her family and for a number of years enjoyed an annual trip with her family to Estes Park. In prior years, she enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles, having mountain picnics, sewing, crocheting and flower gardening.
Betty had a dep love for the Bible and Jehovah God and loved to share the message of the Bible with others. She was active in the Longs Peak Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
