He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kryger-Giese of Marion; children, Richard (Shana) Giese and William Giese, both of Cedar Rapids, Kim (Kimberly) Cavros of Evans, Georgia, Pam (Charlie) Brown of Marion, Cliff Kryger of Central City, Kelly (Lisa) Kryger of Washington Courtouse, Ohio, and Paul (LaNae) Cavros of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sister, Betty Schmidt of Daytona Beach, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and his beloved cat, "Babe".
Otto was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; three sisters; daughter, Latricia; and first wife, Betty.
Memorials may be directed to the family in Otto's memory.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Unity Point Hospice especially Robin and Becky for their care and support they gave Otto during his final days.
