Jayne Ann Paynter Moomaw

Jayne Ann Paynter Moomaw, age 69 of Colfax, died Friday, March 4, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Colfax United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be donated to the Colfax United Methodist Church or the Colfax Fire Department. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Harry and Mary Juanita (Toney) Paynter, Jayne was born on April 20, 1941, in Colfax. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1959 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education from the State Teachers College (UNI). Jayne was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society, TOPS, and was active at the Colfax Senior Center.
