ill be moved to St. Lawrence Church on Saturday morning where visitation will resume at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until time of the funeral mass.

Born in rural Dedham on March 14, 1929, Lawrence was the son of Ambrose and Margaret (Brincks) Klocke. Lawrence attended St. Joseph's School in Dedham and then began helping his parents with their farm operation. On June 6, 1950, Lawrence was united in marriage to Beth Klocke at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Templeton, Iowa. Lawrence and Beth made their home on the Klocke family farm southwest of Dedham where Lawrence continued the family farm operation of grain and livestock. In 2003, Lawrence and Beth moved to the Carroll community.
He always enjoyed his morning coffee; had a great passion for farming and antique tractors. His greatest joy was his family. Lawrence was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Carroll and a member for many years at St. Joseph's Church in Dedham.
Survivors include his children: Duane Klocke and friend Joni Venteicher of Coon Rapids, Jane Schaefer and husband Gary of Carroll, Keith Klocke and wife Karen of Villisca, and Dean Klocke and wife Monica of Halbur; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; his siblings: Alvin (Luanna) Klocke of Minnesota, Joan Hoffmeier of Council Bluffs, Betty LaVan of Minnesota, and Diane (George) Sonderman of Defiance; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Larry Goecke of Florida, Bill Eskens of Missouri, Lou Ann (Clair) Otto of Carroll, Harlan (Janice) Wolterman of Nebraska, Maxine Gingery of Minnesota, Wanita (Ron) Rolfes of Minnesota, and Linda Klocke of Marion; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Beth in August of 2017; his daughter-in-law, Diane Klocke; his grandson-in-law, Joe Lampe; and his sisters: Marian Grossman, Delores Leiting, Marjorie Sturm, Vernie Irlmeier, Lois Sellers, and Carlene Goecke.
