aised him as his own son. Most of Sonny's lifetime was spent in Storm Lake where he was a fork lift operator at Vilas and Company. In later years, he worked at New Hope Village in Carroll, Iowa, where he cared for people with disabilities.Sonny was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. He enjoyed working in his yard and working on cars. One of his great joys in life was watching and caring for children.Sonny's life and memory are honored by his family which include his children: Wayne (Betty) Koster of Storm Lake, Iowa and Michelle (Dustin) Handy of Aurelia, Iowa; and Anthony Allen (fiancée, Jennifer Brouwer) of Storm Lake, Iowa; grandchildren: Kelia and Blaize Koster; brother, Fred (Rita) Koster of Monroe, Wisconsin; two sisters: Lois Koster of Storm Lake, Iowa and Shirley (Ralph) DeLambert of Eden, Wyoming; brother-in-law, Norman Hammond of Wall Lake, Iowa; nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pat Hammond.
