How Did We Do?

Jack Moore, 87, peacefully passed away February 16th 2018 in his home in Renton, WA. He was born in Weiser, Idaho as the youngest of 6 children. His family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where he grew up and attended High School. He eventually moved to the Pacific Northwest as an adult. Jack had a life long passion for photography and deeply enjoyed fly fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Eileen M. Moore, sister Maxine Block of Council Grove Kansas, daughter Robin Moore, step sons Jimmy LeMert, Randall Kaufmann and Lance Kaufmann. Jack was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and the many who adopted him as Grandpa Jack through out his life. He was an active mentor to many over his lifetime, and changed the lives of those he mentored. Jack and his wife were owner operators of the wholesale distributorship for fly tying materials, FishHunter Enterprises in Washington state. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date along the Big Hole River. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jack's name to your favorite Veterans charities or The American Heart Association in your local area.

Please take a moment to share a memory of Jack with all of us below. The many lives Jack touched are saddened, but the happiness lives on in all of us.

Mr. Jack Moore's cremains were gently placed along two of his most favorite locations in the wild west he so loved. His other wish was to revisit the area near where pleasant earliest memories of his family and home in Idaho. His final rating place is located in the family plot in Delevan, Kansas along side his sisters and brother in law and other loved family members. Our family would like to thank all of those who celebrated the life of a very humble and beloved man.

Thank you Jack for being a dear friend. We only saw each other once in a while, but we would pick up where we left of and chat for hours. My time spent with you talking fishing , shooting or hunting was time so well spent. You were a mentor, the likes of which is rare in this day and age. I am a better man for knowing you sir. Rest in Peace dear friend.
