Kay Meyer and Susan (Grett) Meyer. Lawrence loved his family so much. As his daughters grew up any time they needed help with homework or just needed to talk he was there for them. Even as adults if you stopped by he would stop what he was doing and just visit with you. In the summer of 2012, Lawrence retired from farming and him and Janet moved to Latimer. While they were in Latimer Lawrence became part of the city council. He loved his time on council and the council really appreciated him. While on council he managed to help get a street renamed to on the local dentist of Latimer Dr. Wirtz.
