David K. Streets, Sr., 50, of Maquoketa, Iowa, died suddenly on Monday morning, March 14, 2011, at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Public graveside services and burial celebrating David's life will be held at 12 P.M., Saturday, March 19, 2011, from the Streets Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Carson & Son Funeral And Cremation Services in Maquoketa. David Keith Streets, Sr. was born on September 30, 1960 in Jackson County, Iowa, to Sanford and Deniece (Oswald) Streets. He was raised and educated in Maquoketa. He married Janet Shady in 1981 in Maquoketa, Iowa. David was a truck driver and through the years had worked for area trucking companies including Les Bros. Trucking, RFK Trucking, and most recently for Rickels Trucking in Oxford Junction. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his Harley, the Green Bay Packers and was a NASCAR fan of Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
