Richard "Dick" O. Dudley, 84, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, OH on July 26, 1933 to the late Wilbur and Grace (Geschwindt) Dudley. After high school, Richard earned a degree from Purdue University and was a pledge of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. After graduating from Purdue, Richard proudly served in the United States Navy as a pilot. After honorable leaving the Navy, Richard went on to Florida and earned his law degree from University of Miami.
Later in life, Richard met and married his wife of 42 years, Barbara (Dickie) Dudley. He is also survived by his sister, Wilberta Martin, and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was a member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church and the Breakfast Optimist Club of Castleton.
Funeral services will be at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 4850 E Main St, Carmel, IN on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery with Military honors, immediately following the service.
