Maria De Ramirez

Maria De Jesus Ramirez, 95, passed away to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Ramirez was born August 3, 1922 to Calixtro & Dorotea Cardona in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon Mexico.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lucio H. Ramirez; 1 son, Juan Manuel Ramirez, & brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Ramirez is survived by 1 son, Inocencio Ramirez of California; 3 daughters, Juana Ramirez of Weslaco, TX, Elvia Vargas & Maria Vasquez, both of Florida.  Also surviving are 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren & numerous great-great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2018 with a 7:00 p.m. discussion.  Dismissal will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Angels.  Interment will follow at Mercedes Memorial Restlawn.  Pallbearers will be Trinidad Lara, Jr., Ezequiel Lara, Emanuel Lara, Edward Lara, Jaime Vasquez & Juan Gabriel Vasquez.  Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N.
