Michael G. III

Michael G. Cox III, age 19, of Evansdale, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home.  He was born July 16, 1998 in Waterloo the son of Michael Gene Cox II and Kathy Louise Hardy.    Michael worked as a welder and fabricator.  He loved to work on cars, trucks and showing cars with his dad.  He liked to go hunting and fishing, enjoyed skate boarding, mud bogging and going on the airboat with his grandfather.  Michael was a jokester and he loved to make people laugh.  Survivors include his fiancé Kara Koob of Evansdale; his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Matt Watters of Evansdale; his sister, Michaela Jean Cox of Cedar Falls; grandparents, Jerry and Jackie Hardy of Cedar Falls, Larry and Kathy Volbruck of Orion, IL and Michael and Joleen Cox of Janesville; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gene Cox II; his grandmother and great grandparents.
