He has received several awards, Celebrating Catholic School Values: Scholarship and Career Achievement Award; and the Notre Dame Club Man of the Year, Tom was also an Eagle Scout. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and brother John Spencer. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; his children Patrick, and Maggie (Nick) Rohrer; grandson Owen; brothers, Mike (Sheryl), Steve(Peggy), Matt (Jenny) Spencer; sisters, Cathy (Mike), Mary (Jay) Patzschke, sister-in-law, Robin Spencer, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 5th at 11:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Sunday March 4th at St. Luke Catholic Church gymnasium from 2 until 6 pm.
