Anna Louise Phillips, age 82 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Cowan on September 1, 1935 to the late Milton G. and Sadie Virginia Hills Marable. She enjoyed playing golf and shooting guns, especially card shoots, flower gardening, and travelling to Tunica, Mississippi. Anna was able to meet a lot of people through-out her life. She started work at an early age at Genesco Shoe Factory and then Winchester Hat Corporation. Later she worked at Shaw Industries before retiring from Arnold Air Force Base. In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Shrum, and Shirley Shaw. She is survived by her husband, Larry B. Phillips of Winchester; son, Glenn Allen Ray of Cowan; daughters, Theresa Ray (Bobby) Tucker of Winchester, and Sherry Ray Arnette of Decherd; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and fur baby, Tag.
